Double Prizes!

('cause I didn't update yesterday)

Edited to add that it should be "McCullen" not "McClellan" and "Avengers" plural. That's what I get for trying to get these things done in a rush 'afore m' stories come on!

And I'm Pretty Sure The Baroness Is Molotov C*cktease!

So Adult Swim has finally gotten around to airing (or at least showing on their website) the mini-episodes of GI Joe Resolute (Written by comic book scribe Warren Ellis!). On it's own, it's a pretty cool show, but as a fan of GI Joe, it's extra especially interesting as it represents a sort of "missing link" between the old cartoon and the new upcoming live action movie. (Sort of the way the first Star Trek film was kind of a hybrid between the original cast and Roddenberry's Next Generation sensibilities) Sadly, apart from the ways in which the Marvel Comics influenced the movie, there aren't a lot of shout-outs for the Larry Hama fans.

On the original show, Dial Tone was a key player in one of my favorite episodes (Duke, Hawk and all the other ranking officers are away on assignments, so Cobra hacks the Joe's computers to promote the three Joes calculated to create the most problems while in a position of command.) while on the new show, she - voiced by Grey DeLisle - is basically kind of a Redshirt type, who's gotten a bit more face time than the others so far. Actually, she's almost coming off as an annoying Wesley Crusher Deus Ex Machina type.

And thus it all come back to Star Trek.

Old Spock Is Like Old Spice, Only He Smells More Like "Old" Than "Spice."

First of all, again, I apologize for the sudden lack of regular updates. A few of you know I'm going through some pretty rough stuff right now, and while I'd like to say it's finally clearing up, it's not.

But, on the plus side, I have a follower! Woot! Now I know how Cobra Commander feels... except for not being a mutant freak whose head is all covered in eyeballs.

Sigh.

Maybe someday!
